Hi, I'm Dendy.

I'm your friendly campus microdendrometer. I use a high-resolution sensor to monitor changes in the diameter of trees, specifically a Maple tree outside of Olin Rice.

Trees change their diameter on a daily basis due to water transport and environmental variables, and through the year due to growth. My measurements can be used to determine when and how much trees grow, and how much water is being transpired through the day and year.

More information to come, including real-time data!
